I’ve published three books to date, stemming from the images that I created for Overview.
I believe that books are one of the best technologies we have to convey an idea and I’m proud of what these three books hope to accomplish with their respective visual narratives.
Overview Timelapse
A photographic survey of the state of change on Earth today. With human activity driving this transformation faster than ever, visible signs can now be seen across the planet. With more than 250 mesmerizing images such as sprawling cities and the patterns created by decades of deforestation, this book offers a fresh perspective of change on Earth from a larger-than-life scale. Named one of Barnes and Noble’s best books of 2020.
Overview — A New Perspective of Earth
Inspired by the "Overview Effect" - a sensation that astronauts experience when given the opportunity to look down and view the Earth as a whole - the breathtaking, high definition satellite photographs in OVERVIEW offer a new way to look at the landscape that humans have shaped. As seen in The New York Times, The Economist, WIRED, and Amazon's Best Books of 2016.
Overview — Young Explorer’s Edition
Adapted from Benjamin’s first book, this edition aims to make learning about the planet, and the effect we have on it, easier to understand for younger readers (ages 8 and up). Featuring over 60 new images, the book offers "a new way of seeing Earth" to explorers of all ages. Selected as one of the "Best Nonfiction Children's Books of 2019" by Amazon.
